I know the cost is likely much less, but I simply do not want to lose business because callers get frustrated with the receptionist's accent or misunderstanding of our (admittedly complicated) language.  

I thought that one of the major drives of people who are investing in real estate is to achieve "financial freedom" wherein they are generating enough income on a monthly basis that they technically would not have to work if not desired (save for perhaps a few hours a week to keep the wheels turning) - or am I misunderstanding you here?

My lender didn't like the idea of a series LLC but that was likely due to their misunderstanding of what exactly it was.

There's lots of misunderstanding  here.Individual vs LLC depends upon where the title is  vested. 

Dan, my misunderstanding, the 2% -3% return I was referring to was the annual return she was earning on her equity not the % growth of her equity.

Am I misunderstanding?

Over my years of Real Estate experience I've come to know that so many renters have a very big misunderstanding when it comes to renting over purchasing.  

That can help decrease confusion and misunderstanding.
