We wrote into the lease that heat is to be set at 72 degrees, but I know the tenants are likely to not honor that agreement.

So don't think a degree will help you manage hotels.

My CM degree focused mostly on residential and commercial construction/real estate. 

I like mini split heat pumps from eBay because they are easy enough to install yourself and operate down to about 5 degrees Fahrenheit.
