People staying at a place they don't want to stay are more likely to kick doors, slam fridges, drag a chair across the beautiful hardwood floor, you get the idea.Plus, these people are messy if you can smell their pet in the house.

The carpet was stained like someone walked around spilling who knows what and never bothered to wash it up, very dirty dirty walls, black water in the toilet, screens busted out of the screen doors, the fridge was new but you about died when you opened it from the smell of rotting food...you get the picture.

So I would guess that a lot of land lords like me scour craigslist trying to get things 50% of new / retail.But Craigslist can be a bit dodgy.Just the other day when i was trying to source just the right sized fridge, I found an older lady on Craigslist who had such a fridge that she was unloading from an estate from her recently deceased mother.

Like a lot of you, I troll craigslist for extra fridges, stoves, etc and when a good deal comes up on tile, doors, or normal things I go through a lot, I stock up on them.
