Hi there- Currently have an 11 bed student housing unit with 3 entrance doors and 11 separately keyed bedrooms.  

However the side of the building only has enough for one entrance as it stands today, would require structural work.

Hello All,I am in the process of buying a Single Family home off market which has a mother in law suite with a separate entrance that allows us to rent the home as 2 units once purchase & rehab is done.

I’m considering moving from my SFH to a SFH split foyer w/ separate entrance in-law suite.

The basement acts as a 3 bed/ 1 bath apartment with it's own full kitchen, laundry and a separate entrance through the garage.

So this is a split level with a sunken entrance and the builder did not put in an 84 inch tread. 

Use different flooring on the steps and bedroom than the entrance to the steps, this will help people see the difference.

I have a single family home just outside of downtown Atlanta, GA (Oakland City) and it has an unfinished basement with an external entrance to the backyard.

Simply getting some mortgage offset was intriguing to them.THE HOUSEAn 1800sf, 3br/2ba SFH with a basement apartment with separate entrance. (900sf, 2br/1ba upstairs. 900sf, 1br/1ba downstairs.) 

There is a side entrance door, and establishing another unit in the basement with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, living room, small kitchen is easily possible, and would skyrocket the rent amount.
