We currently have one investment property in that area and will likely pick up another in the near future. 

A great opportunity to evaluate a deal yourself and then see how a pro like Dave evaluates deals and see if there's any insights you might not have picked up on yet.

The realtor was very kind and pick me up at the airport and took me directly there the next morning we went into the construction, it’s about three months out, to see the unit which was in the back, I wanted to see what kind of view it had.

So even if you pick a state with stronger protections like WY or NV, the cause of action arose in the state where the tenant fell, so likely that the court where the accident happened would have jurisdiction.
