I think that fundamentally, we're failing across the board in educating the youth about money, and believe that any kind of program that seeks to impart that wisdom is a step in the right direction.

You'd be surprised how often people are willing to share their wisdom.

Hi Julian,I have had a similar analysis- I know conventional wisdom says to buy your own home, to me it just doesn't seem like the best way to leverage your cash as it seems there are better income generating activities out there.

before splitting hairs on depreciation and tax benefits decide what your skills and your "why".and, unlike me, weigh downside risk as likely. things go wrong all the time. any wisdom I have now comes from big mistakes.That said, a group of mobile home parks in the same area makes sense.
