Sometimes this alignment can be fixed with a simple conversation with a very good attorney and the city's attorney.The real question is will it be worth the expense and potential discrimination that could follow from the city - I have heard stories where the city will have their inspectors get very rigid when they do not get what they want to make the owner's life more difficult.

Pick the phone up and call contractors to price the work, or hit Home Depot and price materials if you’re doing it yourself.As for what to charge for rent, idk how many people “need” 5 bedrooms.

My biggest fear is that there will be some very expensive repairs that an appraiser will not pick up (i.e. lots of mold in the walls and roof, lead paint issues, plumbing needs a complete redo, etc.) and push me well over my initial budget to maybe double or triple what I pay for.

Settlement date of the original contract said 9/15.A couple days later we (title company) received a $10 check made out to the seller.On or about 9/1 the  assignor threatened to back out of the deal unless my client closed before 9/5.Please identify the moron in this scenario.do the wholesalers in your area that are getting paid on the HUDS.. actually show up at your office to pick up a check or do you direct deposit for them.. or have a courier hand deliver ????

However, if they wanted to justify it, I'm sure the justification is that renters cause more problems than owners; renters tend to live then shorter periods of time and there are expenses when someone moves in/out such as extra trash pick-ups, programming them into an entry system, cleaning costs as the move in/out can be messy around the building, light damage to the building, scheduling of the freight elevator, cost of providing additional notices as now the tenant and owner need to receive copies, etc.
