I searched records on a house purchased by opendoor in Sacramento and they sold it for less than the purchase price so I am wondering if these large companies are just throwing large quantities of cash at buying homes and only needing to make a very small profit since they are a listing broker also.

@Janet Russell thank you yes I believe they do also it was a fsbo lean from Zillow which I come to realize that this is what wholesalers who have money do but it out right than post it on Zillow and Redfin and jack the price up for provide to a investor but I told him I was a wholesaler myself he did not object needless to say he would go under contract unless I had a buyer which means I can’t shop it around anyway
