I begrudgingly turned it up to 68 in my own house the other day when my 2 year old woke up in the middle of the night saying her feet were cold :) #PutOnSomeSocksYouWimpI keep it at 70 at my house so the wife and kids don't start whining.

That's no different than increasing the rent on a single mother because you found out she adopted 6 kids a week after move-in.Best thing you can do is get a hold of the tenant, explain what was told to you, ask him to be straight with you, and let him know that you'll have to run background checks on the other two and they'll need to be on the lease, but other then that you guys will be good.

I am not aware if they are ACTUALLY more dangerous or not, but haven't had any issues (for example, electric burners stay hotter longer, even though they don't look hot - easier to burn a kid accidentally?).
