I'm speculating, totally.These lenders have legitimate lending platforms, they also run predatory practices and fail to comply with laws on a grand scale, yes, they get burned and it's a cost of doing business, when you're that big we all know how that goes.

Paint house-you can do yourself for a few hundred bucks or pay someone a grand to do.

@Divya Kohli I see you're from the Bay Area, and I'm guessing you're making a decent income out there, like around a hundred grand or more a year.

You got all your money back immediately and you're ready to get another player on base.Get more out of the deal than you put into it, that's a grand slam.

I would guess the value of the mobile home is about 8 grand, the car 3 grand.

It was less than two grand for a day and a half effort, including hauling away affected furnishings, then we had regular contractor replace remaining floor covering, repaint, and good to go...

17 years ago I was trying (poorly I might ad) to be a realtor, the plan was to buy at least one condo a year for 5 years that in theory in 30 years would be paid off an bringing me a grand a month each or 60k a year. 

Definitely noted that it's best to simply "hit the ball and get on base" for my first few deals and worry about the "home runs" and "grand slams" later.I am for sure trying to have very well defined goals, strategy, and do my best analysis (without the paralysis) for whichever area I choose.Thank you for your help and advise.
