Others had no clue on what it takes and just have a dream and a prayer with no actionable steps on how to get from point A to point B. 

After our first tenant eviction, we checked out completely from our real estate dreams-- we quit.

If all they do is help Barbie and Ken clients buy their dream home, they're not going to be a good fit.

Its just that I've had a rough year actually i can say its been the worst year of my life and the only thing that kept me in school was the dream of living long term in japan, but now that I know that I can tie my financial goals and my personal goals together I feel like I could be more active in getting deals and maybe take more hours at my job to better fund those goals .

That said, go do what ever you want to dream up, at some point you're likely to be exposed and you can suffer the consequences with a smile on my face since you were told.  

I really want to become a RE investor and change my life, help people, get out of my comfort zone and achieve my dreams.

This worked for me because:a)  Lending was much easier since it would be my primary residenceb)  Great way for a first-timer to learn a ton by living in your rental while renting the other unit out at the same timec)  The area wasn't my "dream" community, but it was nice, convenient and safeI think this strategy can work for you too.  

Family and children:  All the more reason and motivation for you to pursue your dreams.  

The more you share it, the more others will help you realize your dreams and support you.
