While anyone can work for H&R Block, so to speak, an EA is better qualified and trained in the area of taxation.When you finish your degree you could certainly make application with the IRS as with your background and then education you would probably have a better chance than freshly graduated accounting students.

Some just aren't great at taking tests.I have always been an excellent test taker.My friends would study all week in school and know the answers but flake out at test time.They always hated when I studied for just 45 minutes before the test, went in and made a 95 to 100.I had the ability to block everything out and absorb the material for 45 minutes and take the test and then dump the info when I went out the door.The real estate test does not prepare you for real estate it just helps you pass the state mandate.90% of the stuff on there I do not use in daily transactions.

In the 1993 Northridge quake, I do not know of one home that fell to the ground (not counting those sitting on stilts on hil sides, etc), it was only the apartment buidlings made from brick and block that crumbles.So with that said, I fear not the possibility of the home crashing to the gound.
