It seems easier to be a RE agent in an area you're already familiar with, but with such incredibly low inventory I'd imagine it's tough to make a living with all of the agent competition out there.My gut tells me to just find wherever my new job is going to be and then look into the investment side of things. 

Is it easier to go to the city with an expired 30 days to vacate notice or an eviction notice?

I suspect that a quad would be easier from a numbers perspective because they generally have a greater rent to price ratio.

Can you imagine living in a home that you own and having random people appearing in your private home?  

I know typically a duplex is more expensive then single family homes.My question is, is it easier to get conventional financing for that types of properties because of it's potential to produce cash flow,or at last reduce what I'm paying for the expenses out of my own pocket.?

My tenant appears to be under the assumption that rent is being prorated for the entire cosmetic repair of the wall.
