Furthermore many lenders will walk-away from a rooming house (legal or otherwise), particularly a student rooming house ... if the appraiser show's up to find locks on all the bedroom doors, it will be flagged as a rooming house.If you are going to rent furnished rooms to students, we have found it works best if you have a Den Mother who resides in the property and keeps the ship upright and everyone playing nice and carrying their load.
