Just make sure that if the house is not 100% FINISHED, and all boo boos repaired, that there's plenty of $$ placed in escrow to finish it.We just looked at a place that was about 35% BELOW MARKET on a price per square foot basis.

With that in mind, I look for working class neighborhoods, where they dont have granite countertops but they keep their yards up, in neighboring cities that are priced below market, and only take 3-5 years to pay off.

But you should be able to get the same comps from zillow or realtor.com that you could from MLS.I'm sure the filtering is far, far better on MLS based on some of the comps my realtor pulls for me from time to time.
