Debra, you can buy and read a lot of books, buy and listen to a lot of tapes and DVDs and go to seminars and listen to gurus ... all in all spend a lot of money and waste a lot of time ...ORyou can spend some time here on Bigger Pockets and read a lot of the threads and blog posts and interact with the members ...for the wonderful price of FREE.I encourage you to go Pro on here eventually.Welcome.

USDA is good for over 90% of the US (google usda loan and they have a good interactive map to see what areas are eligible).

They helped us thru the years and every interaction has been great.

Also, understanding how the world of agents works - meaning how to interact with them, how the business is conducted/handled, all the rules/regulations, etc.

I’m not giving you an apartment immediately because you have an immediate problem, and if our first interaction is you calling with a problem then that is what I will expect from you.

I would have no interaction with my properties or tenants, so real estate ownership would be nothing more than another company out there that sends me checks and bills each month.
