Question to all my fellow rental property owners who self manage.

Why do you self manage Instead of finding a professional property management company?

A- Fees

B- Service

C- Trust

Please be descriptive if possible so I can learn more.

Thank you

@Seemant Nakra

Because nobody will care about my properties as much as I care about my properties. And most PM’s in my area either do a poor job, or they charge too much, or they charge too much for the poor job they do. And, because I have the time to do the job.

The one thing that annoys me the most is the fees they charge to renew a lease. $300,400,500 to simply do a new lease addendum for an existing tenant! Ridiculous.
