In terms of the actual *mortgage* county tax, if you google NYS Mortgage Tax rate form MT-15, you will find a several page document that will highlight your tax rate depending on which NYS county you're purchasing in.

@JT StanfordTo start buying real estate in Chicago, as a first-time homebuyers you should your budget, look at loan choices, talk to a loan broker, check out places like Woodlawn and Greater Grand Crossing, and choose a property type (duplex, triplex, or multi-unit), look at move-in ready homes, work with a local real estate agent, and plan for the future.

That fix apparently is now concealed and may be almost impossible to assess unless there is some documentation of what was done, and if a permit was pulled, and did it pass the building dept's inspections.

Philly is not the type of place where you take advice, it's the type of place you have to drive multiple times to see where the blocks change from B to C and C to D.
