Jeff Bridges Bathroom Layout Help!
10 December 2019 | 18 replies
Your proposed layout will have you taking the commode's waste pipe through at least four joists (that's four big-a$$ holes, for the mathematically challenged) if you run it back to the original waste stack, while I suspect that the way the math will works out on the toilet placement that you're going to have to saw directly THROUGH a joist to get the toilet in approximately where you want it and run the waste pipe back right next to the joist sloping 1/4 in. per linear foot in order to run it to the secondary stack, which has yet to be proved to my satisfaction is actually a full-size 3-inch stack.

Mathew Fuller Fastest way to hit 20% Loan To Value and drop PMI
22 November 2019 | 25 replies
Grand scheme of things, it would be nice to refinance to pull money out and throw into other investments, but id suspect its only a smart move for somebody like you who has a lot of skin in the game, and the capital to back it up.

Ligaya Bales Dealing with a lawyer for eviction
20 November 2019 | 11 replies
. 😬 I was mostly just venting and wondering what was normal (seems his initial fees and such are way over priced 🤪)  It just sucks that such people like that exist who take advantage of others.. as if a bad deliquent renter wasnt enough .. then to have what seems to be a rippoff lawyer ☹️ and we really suspect he is assting the tenant to stay longer instead of evicting him asap.. it's maddening hopefully it will all be over soon tho .. ugh Maybe she will file a complaint with the board if things get any worse 😐 ughIts not really my business but to stand by while she goes though all this was really getting on my nerves she almost wants to sue him for being a bad lawyer 😲
Michael Balducci Auction.com purchase fiasco
20 November 2019 | 11 replies
Interestingly, throughout the process the Auction.com reps would repeatedly assure me that this was outside the norm, but I suspect that's not exactly true.I think that what bothers me the most is the lack of transparency in the process.I can't help but wonder if Auction.com's business model is essentially getting a buyer under contract then seeing if the seller's interested the contract - somewhat like wholesaling in reverse.
