Have re-modeled each unit one at a time when tenants have vacated.

Then a 1 bedroom 1 bath upstairs and a total remodel.

We all know the area is pretty rough with alot of drug users. i found out Baltimore is a block by block city so things can change in a blink of an eyei knew i would rehab the whole thing once bought and decided to finish basement to make it a 3bed/2bath and change the 45 degree stairs to align with one wall straight up.i set a budget of $60k ( some people say im crazy lol ) and plan on using a remodel loan for it.

OR I’d have 2 units, the first being a 3 bed, 2 bath with bonus room and office PLUS a second unit being a 2 bed .75 bath.I don’t want to do the remodel work for 2 kitchens and then have the City say I can’t operate it as a duplex.  

Most accountants hire people to fix their cars or remodel their home, because it is outside their core skill set.There should be two sets of eyes reviewing your taxes, but the CPA should be the first set.

I worked really hard on a property last winter remodeling the basement.

We also just closed on a quadplex and REALLY need the cash for to remodel it.
