The subdivision is a newer development w/ new houses still being built for $300K, give or take $10-20K for size/features.I would imagine the neighbors who live on this cul-de-sac would like to see this house fixed up; the neighbors in the development would want this house repaired for property value/affect on sales.Who would I talk to about this house?

They usually do move out and she changes the locks.This is farm country, but I cannot imagine ANYWHERE in the USA that this is legal.

The Assessors Office can help, or... they can call the "title plant" of a title company there (Chicago Title) and ask if they will email the parcel map to them.

sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. so many things can go wrong with it... wish you success, but i can't get my guys to get it done on time and i am at the house every single day. can't imagine what it would be like if i was 800 miles away.good luck though.

Apparently the people living in there now are renters.The house is only a 2 bedroom and I can't imagine it would rent for more than $1000/month (if that much).

Plus it has alot of different features such as blog, emailing, etc. if you want upgrade.
