Plug the air line into the compressor, run the compressor until you have about 60 psi on the gauge, shut off the compressor, close the valve, and wait. 

It is plugged in and cold refrigerator/freezer. 

I have been plugging numbers left and right in the BP calculators,  however, without a home inspection, or contractor on site, it has been difficult to trust the numbers.
