We rented it out from out of state and went back in the spring and we finished two basements so added 800 square feet, rehabbed the kitchen and baths and made a good chunk on the sale.  

That way they can use my kitchen and pool and other things.

(total about $3000) unit 2 needs some light kitchen reno - stove and cabinets redone, flooring.

We owe about 132K left on it at 4.0% We upgraded the kitchen converted the attic into a room.

Hello,I purchased a duplex in Austin, TX that needs some interior work done (flooring, kitchen, bathroom, some sheetrock, and interior painting, at minimum).

They turned the living room into their second bedroom (that room is next to the kitchen). 

Corroded pipes under the kitchen sink that had a horrible taste and smell to the water, it was then that they offered to let us break our lease but arent being forthcoming with the deposit... which im assuming they spent quickly. 

A decent bathroom will cost $35k each minimum, and kitchen at least $75k for a home of this size for "average" quality. 

We redesigned the interior of the house to make for a much larger kitchen and dining area.

It's not in bad shape, needs new flooring throughout and the kitchen is empty (no cabinets or anything) and it's a condo in a very nice center so the only exterior work needed is some landscaping on the small patio.
