Hi,Does anyone have white cabinets in their Section 8 rental?

There are customers at many different price points.If every landlord was like you (and me), there would be no $400-550 for 2 bedroom apartments for rent, leaving no housing option for lower income people.

My background is in construction: building condos, townhomes, apartment buildings, and custom homes.

We will update and upgrade once there is tenant turn-over (i.e. wainscotting, soft-close drawers and cabinets, shutters/blinds, screened-in porch, etc.) to match the final phase upgrades.

There was some chitter chatter about them expanding their footprint to a few other counties (they only lend on real estate within their specific county footprint of business), one cost of that would have been no longer being able to offer that HELOC (I guess the HELOC is a good "gateway product" to get new checking/savings account customers, new car loan and wealth management customers, you get the idea).

The only thing is, just like with many 'tiny homes' you are losing a large % of customers right out of the gate.

Therefore, I choose not to make the payment because I wasn't sure that it will go through.Anyways, I spoke with the customer service and made the payments now so the account is current again.

I don't know if this is specifically the case with Chase, but some banks and credit unions have subsidiary appraisal management companies collecting that appraisal fee, so that would be even better for the bank if that is the case.The other garbage estimator websites, like Zillow or Redfin, do the same stuff, but are aimed at bringing business in the door for their primary customers -- real estate agents (you, the person reading this, are the product being sold).
