I was doing a pre-tour of a property I am closing on tomorrow and the owner told me that the tenants in the 5-unit aren't aware the property was for sale or sold.

if that is the case then you may not have any other options, If so then you may want to do a virtual tour and send local neighborhood specifics and distance locations to where they are planning to work etc.. jut to take all the variables out of the equation

I have taken a tour this weekend just to get the feel of it.

When touring the property, use your scoping skills to observe how well the current owner has maintained the property and how well the tenants take care of their units.

The info sheet answers most applicants questions, and it also helps them remember what stands out about the house and how to turn in the application (especially if they're touring multiple properties that same day).The picture of your house looks nice. 

I would tell the tenant you will be completing a tour of the property to complete a video walk through to show to potential tenants. 

1) Screen by phone to see if they are a fit. 2) Meet in person for a tour of the house. 3) Offer an application. ...... in that order. 😊.

My classes (I'm a teacher) took a field trip to Gallo years ago and we toured the glass plant. 

Third, you can fly out any time and we will pencil in a couple hours to go take a tour of some properties and the market, not random properties but deals we are actively working, listing, buying or managing at the time.

Maybe I should put "request and review tenant and pet screening criteria before asking for a tour" ?
