Degree for Real Estate investment and plan on to continue purchasing rental properties and sharpening my land lording skills. 

My husband is a contractor and he is helping flippers renovating their investment ; I love driving around town going to open house and I am "interior decorator" at art.... so we decided that this year to we should really do it. 

If you are just starting, I'm night sure what volunteering would do until you've developed a skill set.

You just need to learn good negotiation skills and of course the buy/sell process .

I learned skills from painting to installing tiles, doors and frames to save as much as I could from having to paying my contractor.

Because they can say all day yea I'm not bias but you will see once you start asking for a longer due diligence period or you re not depositing earnest money until after the due diligence period..whatever skill you re good at focus on that skill in reference to your business.

When it comes to providing housing for those on the margins, a special skill set is required.

I'm thinking about keeping it simple with rents in the $200 range and then applying some of my technology skills to add value with Internet for the office, free website/email hosting.

Would you suggest advertisting for skilled individuals, like individual plumbers, electricians, painters, etc.?
