Initially in the first few years I would like to use the cash flow to either put back into mortgage or else to help pay for the next property, whenever that is.- I am not sure how to answer your questions about appreciation and tax write-offs.

Do I have to live there? Or can I just let the lender know that I plan on this being a rental property?
