@Maranda Nevils the only thing that jumps out at me, other than no property tax, that you have addressed is a 2 bed renting for $2500/mo.

Our rent was $1,750 for a 2-bed ,1,250 square foot townhouse, so a 3-bed will be slightly above your budget in that neighborhood.We love it here so much that we bought a place across the city in East Raleigh. 

There is a breezeway between the main house and what used to be the garage and a small bed and bath on the backside of the garage.
