I suspect this supply problem is not going anywhere for a while, mostly due to government regulation making it harder and harder to get an affordable house up. 2008 had a glut of over-construction in most markets, and I'm not seeing that today. 

People trying all this fancy stuff with 3 or 7 properties are wasting their time, I suspect you would not be.

Since you have credit scores in the mid-to-upper 700s with very little debt load, I would suspect that you can get some great deals on cards.
