The best way to start is by saving money and studying real estate investing (reading, talking with people who do what you're interested in, learning the field etc)Once you start, you need patience, you can't give up.

Ok @Alan Ford, my 2 cents on the area is this: Beachfront locations are always a decent bet all things considered.Just about every survey and study I have ready about STR vacation locations list beachfront destinations as near the top.

@Austin JacobusFill out the Fafsa (starting Oct 1 now, not Jan 1 the following year), get free grants/work study/scholarships if you can, buy real estate and rent out rooms and units to other students to live for free, take out low interest and deferred student loans while in college, pay off students loans upon graduation before interest accrues with the profits from your real estate investing.

So me and my partner have been studying real estate marketing and wholesaling for going on 4 months now and we are not only ready to get started but we're hungry for deals.

It proved to be unsuccessful. 

I would say you would need to prove yourself and the competency of your crew to get in with a situation that you appear to be looking for.

No results yet in terms of return on investment but the investment proved to be relatively modest to the gain we are expecting on resale.  

Looking for suggestions and alternatives I've been studying for years but this would be my very first deal if I can get it to work.
