It's one thing for people to work part time because they want to but for many it's a HAVE to thing in their golden years to supplement S.S.I read a scary statistic the other day that 90% of seniors have a net worth of 100k or less.These kinds of things just make you think how bad things are out there.

If Thomas were to default on the CMBS loan the old owner and now junior lienholder would have the right to reinstate the senior debt to protect his interest and foreclose Thomas out.If you think about it, it's somewhat of a brilliant strategy on behalf of the seller.

If there is a first lien and the bid is on a junior, then the deed is subject to (inferior) senior lien but the bidder is now the property owner not a mortgagee.

I imagine when senior citizens are retired, they care more about what is for sure coming in every month compared to how much money is sitting in the bank.
