Locally here there is more of a lending appetite for build to rent housing than build for sale "spec" housing.

I've not heard of mortgages including house insurance (things are different in the US). 

My question is how will a house sale affect his retirement and selling me the house at a discount will affect me?

Hello- i need some input, i bought a house that does not have a permanent light fixture in the living and dining room.

I believe that the hardest part is the first house.  

Being in a price point that typically caters to moderate earners, so affordable to their incomes, but also having a tenant base that is more likely a renter by necessity than choice (or the non-PC way of saying it: a tenant that can afford your rent without struggling, but can't afford to save up to buy a house).3.

Combined we make over 200k a year, no kids and no debt.

Now this was also post freeze, so shorter term housing was at a premium. 

How far do traveling nurses prefer to be from the hospital, the houses I'm looking at range from 15 minutes away to 5 minutes away.
