I think condos are a great first investment and recommend them often because they are more protected and you have fewer responsibilities than a single-family home which reduces your liability.

I've been doing HVAC since 1965 and it is very difficult and dangerous to expect any person not familiar with climbing ladders and then having them look vertically at the ceiling to try to get the screws out, or to get the sliding locks to open.
