Brandon Turner’s book is one of my personal favorites which you already mentioned and David Greene’s book on out of state investing is a great one if you consider investing outside of NY.

Meeting up for a drink after work with a girlfriend, my gym workouts, date night at our favorite spot with my husband, etc. 

They have so much work now (some 16 crews on the road), the owner had to hire a project mgr "guy" to run the more complicated day to day tasks that the two office people couldn't do.So, you see doing real estate can be a fun hobby to do when you aren't working.
