It’s a booming area.

Even though there were some lay offs here and there, overall the economy is still booming.

After the boom of 2020/2021, and with record low interest rates, I was able to refinance in November 2021 to a 3.25% owner occupied loan.

I think we will see a boom on the outskirts of town in the next few years since downtown will be too expensive. 

New home sales with subsidized interest rates are booming; look into working for a Builder as a new home consultant.

All that being said, I think Raleigh is potentially the next boom.

My rental investor clients have had success in most of the North, Downtown, and Southtown areas of the city.I am not sure if short term rentals are of interest to you, but it is a booming market here and only getting stronger.

Going west to Copperas Cove, that area is booming and there's lot of open land adjacent to Fort Hood Army Airfield which is separate from the base.
