I feel my dad has OVER renovated... sinking tens of thousands of dollars into high-end windows, hardwood floors, high-end appliances, and a totally remodeled kitchen.

Usually the 10 day window is used in an attempt to "set the sale aside" , as opposed to redeem, in an attempt to complete a short sale/loan mod, improper notification, etc.

Checking the car is also a good practice, but these days people have such dark tinting on the windows that it can be hard to see inside.

If it's not worth my time to handwrite it for them probably not worth interacting with them...Although I've thought about buying 1000 business cards and throwing them out my car window as I go & seeing if I would ever get a response.LOL at the sponge business card but not sure I want someone washing themselves with my contact info.

If you let it slide they will test you even more just like little kids to see how much you will allow them to get away with.

One party may be 20% responsible due to not having a decent lock, the other is 80% at fault for putting the flat screen in the picture window.....whatever.

And, an aftermarket rain guard had been added to the front window.....for people who never smoke in the car.

I used to get aggravated about it, but now it just slides right off my back.

The owner has added new windows, a deck, new vinyl fence brick landscape in front.

Rather than fixing it/putting it back up, I think I'm going to take the other gate down as well and be done with it.What about having no screen for a sliding glass door?
