This year I'm looking at doing a self storage facility and am currently trying to find a software that can handle my regular rentals as well as the storage facility.

However I don't think this is likely as I'll have neither a credit score or history of income (either in the US or in the UK) and don't have enough cash to purchase somewhere outright and doubt I'd qualify for a regular residential mortgage.

@Josh GreenActually you could reach out to a commercial broker and see if they have a recommendation as well they are more likely to know one than a regular agent.

The next step would be to regularly scan these areas for anything that looks interesting.....and I have seen so many properties before that I can tell if it is worth while or not.

So I was watching YouTube and a "guru" mentioned you can take a loan out on your indexes/stocks as it is a secured loan at a fraction of what you would get on a regular loan (1.5% instead of the 3-4% on a regular conventional loan) and that you can borrow around 40-60% of your portfolio amount.I looked online for info even close to this but couldn't find it, I have a sizeable 401k so wanted to look into this - any insight greatly appreciated

My success was going after the more seasoned agents that produced on a regular basis.

Purchase 1-2 motorhomes and rent them out through outdoorsy type hosted sites (yes I am aware that this will never appreciate  and will depreciate quickly) these do extremely well where we live.Thank you for reading and responding, my wife and I appreciate your time!
