The major difference is that this would apply to ALL PROPERTIES that the inspector drove by, not just the magical "1-4 unit rentals" that are the target of the witch hunt.Unfortunately as happens far too often with ordinances, the good owners are the ones impacted...it won't be till the city finds the ones hiding that a real improvement will be realized for our city's children...that will only happen when the last leg of the law has started (enforcement) and even then only when the city can identify a rental (if the house is held in an individual's name and the tax bill gets mailed to the house on the county records it will look just like an owner occupied house).

It's not like the market did something unexpected in those 11 months you held onto the property.

Require her to use a liner inside the tub when taking a shower to prevent splash out.I agree, it would be more difficult to bathe a child with the shower doors and their metal tracks in the way.

The inspectors that i've encountered (i've had two inspections on my longest held fourplex and one on my newest) have been very courteous, informative, and straight forward about what they are looking for.  

If you are in the chain of title you can be held liable, but there is likely already an LSRP assigned to the property and working with the state.

We’ve gotten it down to less than a $1 per foot for everything, this includes take up and install, pad and metal.

Then for  fun I have set up a metal wash tub and a wash board set up in the laundry room along with a rope for a clothes line .
