It's more common to find cameras on larger scale apartment complexes.  

I have envisioned myself owning an apartment complex with 64+ units and the potential excites me.

Just looking for a gut check from other landlords/property managers.I denied an application last week because the applicant owed ~$4K to a former apartment complex.

What's the typical payback on let's say a 100 unit complex (tenant paid electric except water heater/furnace) where you offer electric to the tenants?   

I know they used it to paint the exterior of my condo complex last year if that's any help.

Long term I'm looking at building passive income through commercial (really like the idea of storage unit complexes) and residential real estate.

Hey I just did this fix at a condo complex last year with a sinking corner.

The prepayment penalties have been determined in such a way that, whatever you do, you end up paying a double digit interest rate over the original lifetime of the loan.Just the fact that companies would sell such a complex product under false pretences and not explaining to people how these exotic products really work tells me all that you need to know. 

I dont know all the details true but i am familiar and really its not a very complex operation being that its one the largest bars in town.I wont be laying out all 800 but rather i will pit down thirty plus percent.
