Looking for some opinions please..I am on track to close on my second investment property (3/2)  in a few weeks or so with flexible plans for the Seller to rent it back at a discount for a couple months. 

However, I'm told my tax basis will be close to $2MM after depreciation recapture.  

I feel like my best route to getting started is by working with partners or private lenders given my current available capital.

Nationally we have seen prices drop a bit, my market Milwaukee is still up 7% (despite high rates).

While I was able to leave my job after 30, it hasn't been comfortable.

My intent was to use the local reputable contractor (think of the guys sponsoring sports).

This made my property perform much better than when I first purchased it.I knew that all I had to do was raise the rent in order to get the fair market value.
