I have a kid who's interested in real estate and he got a job working in the closing department at a large lender. 

We had no fire damage or even threat of it, as we are over 30 feet away, catty-cornered, upwind of the fire. extreme negligence of the Fire Department and operator using heavy equipment on a personal residence. 

Usually, first step is to speak with the local planning and building department about rezoning.Then you have to check their requirements and if you need a variance.

I believe parkland is in pierce county and they do,have a department that deals with these types of things. 

Definitely talk to a few bank's lending department to see what their requirements are.

@Andra Tom your first step is going to be to go to your local building department and make sure that the current zoning still allows for your house to be used as a two family.

No gifting of down payments from friends/family members.You may want to reach out to a department that loans to LLC's.

It's a long shot but I was successful after receiving the notice once by just pulling the permits and speaking to the lady that runs the department.

I called the police department and was told that since no one was arrested, they can't release any information but I know that a gentleman was escorted from the premises. 

Some state department websites may have some downloadable information on registered companies...but generally speaking I'm here just to follow this thread and see if anyone has better data sources than me :-)
