North of Boston all the way up the coast to around the Portsmouth/Dover area - what is the hottest area to buy in for real estate investors right now?

The economy is so strong here with the hospitals, universities, and  massive  tech migration from the big coastal tech markets including San Fran, Boston, Seattle, etc..

The growth outlook for all Jacksonville is quite favorable based on a lot of factors but the ones I like the most include: recession resistant jobs (healthcare/Navy/finance/financial tech/transportation/insurance), just to name a few of the bigger industries here.

Crime Rates, Schooling, Businesses open, Transportation, price to rent ratio, etc. 

Hi everyone,Has anyone had any experience househacking in the Greater Boston Area with single family rentals by the room?

On the upside, there’s been a lot of big improvements to the city currently happening (Capitol building remodel, adding underpasses for railroad tracks, new public transportation facility).

The best thing we have going for us is our proximity to NYC and Boston and that our property prices are much less then those higher prices cities....but those two cities offer a lot more in educated work force, technology, logistics.

I’d respectfully disagree with @Jonathan Greene here at least from my Boston perspective.
