@Andrew WhytockInspections and contingencies protect the buyer, so ideally you would want to have every inspection and contingency available.The only thing is that you need to present an attractive offer and the more contingencies you include the less attractive it is.So what it boils down to is how competitive your market is and how attractive your offer has to be.I highly recommend including a structural inspection contingency even when buying distressed properties.
