@Dean Welsh  No your talking about a wet closing in some states they do that. like in our states here on the west coast you sign one to 3 days in advance and get a Wire you rarely if ever get a check I would NEVER accept a check at closing ONLY wired funds.. checks can bounce even attorney checks..
