I desire to build something great with the guidance of a mentor or as a joint partnership with someone equally as hungry but that may bring other things to the table than what I do.

I have Best Ever Apartment Syndication from Joe Fairless that I've heard good things about.I'm not interested in syndication but am definitely wanting to learn about partnerships.

Unfortunately many syndications are set up partnerships and in that case it would not qualify because you'd be buying shares or membership interests and not real property.

Maybe we can link up have a beer or meal and talk partnership.

I say if you're going to reap the benefits of partnership as a starting investor, look for benefits that are unique and not easily offered to you. 

So yourself and your wife on an LLC created a partnership and you'll need to file a 1065 Partnership Tax Return- unless you're in a community property state.

A group of us are forming an investment group to start a few RE ventures and are in the search for an attorney who has experience structuring partnership agreements to help guide our group's structuring.
