@Chris Teti right that’s the moral dilemma.

We lived there for a little over a year until we had to move in with my wife's parents after her father's health began to fail and her mother needed help to take care of him. 

I’m in a bit of a dilemma.

I'm in about the same boat as you on a couple rentals, about 100-150 below market and going through this same dilemma. 

I would not lose sleep over it because it is not worth your health to stress out over some sticks and bricks.

Here's my dilemma. 

His last offenses he killed the victims to reduce his likehood of being caught.So when looking at registered sex offenders, look at how long ago the offence was, their current age, sometimes the police have information about their health, if they are repeat offenders, how long they have been out, the violence of their action, is it likely repeatable.

My other dilemma is that when I sold that last house I had to pay Uncle Sam which I am not a fan of for capital gains tax.
