If you are going to give up all control and invest in RE remotely, though, then you should just buy a REIT and be done with it, at least then you'll be diversified, with a security with fully audited financial history, world class management, and scale.

That's unheard of in most of eastern MA.You might find that in Lawrence and Methuen too, but most of Middlesex and Essex counties are not even going to beat 1%.BTW - I also sponsor the Boston South REIA.

I believe there may also be one in Columbus, GA, which may be a bit closer, although they are in the Eastern time zone vs. the Central time zone.I purchased a townhouse last year which I am currently renting out at $950.
