In a trailer park, you don't pay property taxes.As others said, mobile homes don't appreciate the same way as a 'regular' home and insurance is a lot more.I have one that is on its own lot and I had no problem with getting bank financing.

I receive monthly payments from a personal injury settlement, but because this does not count as income, I don’t believe I can get approved for a regular home loan program even though I have an excellent credit score and some cash for a down payment.
