They may UW the deal per property / LLC but they most likely will have you apply under one LLC and ask for your affiliates and come to a calculation that way.I wish I could better answer this question, best bet is to just apply, it’s free and you don’t have to accept the loan.

The people who took out HELOC's on their personal homes (borrowed) to be able be in this business might be facing a double edged sword if their W2 income is effected by this.Losing their homes would be a tough blow, a lot tougher than having to sell off an under performing SFH rental.It used to be called "Betting the Farm".Hopefully we pull out of this thing before it gets that bad.

I believe the hardest part is raising the capital and then having the guts to put is on the line and bet on yourself.If you have this in you then I feel that you can make this happen.Like @Evan Polaski said in his post, he has friends that have raised capital are learning through the process.
