Some counties have this info online, and others require you to go to the physical location of the county assessor's office and request the info.

I feel as though Oklahoma City is an amazing marketplace. 80-120K gets you in very decent neighborhoods without having to worry about buying an older home that requires major updating...IE: plumbing, electrical etc.

It was not 2,000 miles away though so that played a major factor that's for sure.What I can say for sure is that investors need to make sure they do not have to rely on the tenants rent to pay the mortgage, especially if they are out of state.

Sydnie, the first place to start would be by signing up for a real estate class, either online or in person, to get qualify to take the TREC licensing test.I don't believe I'm allowed to post links, but go to the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) website, and it will guide you through the steps.Your age/appearance could deter some potential clients, but we all have some aspects that both deter and attract people.
